My name’s Alice, and I’ve struggled with IBS symptoms for as long as I can remember. I used to blame it on being a vegetarian, however after a few trips abroad, eating meat again and suffering considerably from feeling sick, bloated and unable to sleep due to stomach cramps I was finally diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. For more about my diagnosis, read my blog post written for IBS Awareness Month…
I’ve been following a low FODMAP diet for a couple of years now, and having finally got used to the idea, I thought I’d share some of the recipes, food finds and general tips which hopefully you may find useful… I do tend to avoid garlic, onion, gluten and nuts but do try to keep my diet as varied as possible.
If you’re new to the low FODMAP diet I’d suggest starting by reading my Low FODMAP Favourites posts (Part 1 & Part 2) for ideas of where to start.
